Cloudburst Clematis is a heavy bloomer, breaking out in early summer with purple-blue blossoms with pale, delicate centers and darkly veined petals. Like a cloudburst, blooms appear in sudden profusion from early to midsummer and then continue blooming more moderately until fall. This latest cultivar from Szczepan Marczynski’s collection has flowers that are 4 in. W to 5 in. W and have slightly wavy edges.
