With masses of feathery lavender flower plumes and deep green lacy foliage, Amethyst Astilbe is superb on its own or adding dramatic background color to perennial borders and beds. Also ideal for naturalizing, it spreads quickly and forms broad clumps. Bring its beauty indoors by adding a plume or 2 to a cut flower arrangement.
