High-Noon Tree Peony has it all. It’s beautiful, fragrant and easy to grow. Its 5-1/2 in., semi-double flowers are clear lemon yellow with a red blush at the base of each petal. The blooms have a strong fragrance, an unusual trait for a tree peony. An American-bred plant, it forms a vigorous shrub that can grow to 5 ft. in height in as little as 5-year to 6-years after planting. It’s not unusual for a single High-Noon to have as many as 50 flowers. Plus, if the fall is warm and long, it will often rebloom.
