Since being introduced in 1881, Felix Crouse Peony has been one of the most loved red varieties. Large, brilliant crimson double flowers of even tone and silky luster, are very fragrant. The foliage is clean, but the stems often requite some sort of support, due to the large, tightly compacted flowers.
- Although old, still considered one of the best red varieties
- Grows to a maximum height of 34 in. and width of 36 in.
- Prefers to grow in well drained soil
- Has average water needs, but be careful not to overwater
- Each offer includes one 2 to 3 eye bare root division
