Tautoni Spreading Yew is an excellent evergreen foundation plant for a partially shaded area. It is low growing, only reaching 2 ft. to 3 ft. tall, but has a nice spreading habit growing up to 5 ft. W in 20-years. It has short dark green evergreen needles that provide all-season color, and some great texture and contrast to your landscape. This variety is also a great hedge item, and is known as the hardiest of the yews, making it ideal for colder climates.
