The aluminum Halder Simplex replacement face insert is a hard heat resistant material. It is perfect for hitting hardened steel parts in cases where you do not what to damage what you are hitting. This is commonly used in tool and die work, mold construciton, manufacturing and repair work. Note, do not use this insert with any Halder Simplex Aluminum Housing. Only suitable for Halder Simplex cast iron or reinforced cast iron housings.
